The Video Production Process

Great ideas are meaningless without successful execution. All Pro Media stands ready to be your support team through the entire video production process. Whether you want us to handle it all, or assist in any step of the production, we’ll be there.

Pre-Production

Pre-Production eliminates many complications, and is overall important to the video production process.

Here is a quick look at some of the steps involved:

  • Determine video project goals
  • Create Outline & Write Script
  • Establish Shooting Schedule
  • Location Scouting
  • Talent Scouting
  • Set Design
  • Professional Narration

Production

No two projects are exactly alike. That’s why we offer a broad selection of Field and Studio Production tools. This helps us to put the power of video to the advantage of our clients. We start by selecting the right equipment and format. This is best determined by evaluating the intended use, budget, and the estimated length of the video program.  Our productions are complemented by our extensive selection of equipment including a jib/crane with motorized head, portable camera dolly, a teleprompter, portable green screen and more.  Additionally we offer live switched multi-camera production with digital recording to HD and live streamed remote video production.

Post-Production

From simple transitions to the most elaborate effects, our post production nonlinear editing systems provide ultra-fast capabilities at the hands of our experienced personnel. A broad array of text and graphics, motion graphics, 2-D animation and color grading are also used to enhance our post production projects at All Pro Media. These dynamic elements add credibility and viewer interest for the people you want to reach the most.

Sound for Video

Getting the sound right is of utmost importance.  All Pro Media utilizes an extensive selection of microphones and sound equipment to handle various production situations.  Most interviews for example are recorded with either a shotgun or hypercardioid mic overhead on a fishpole.  We frequently record to a separate digital audio recorder for added fidelity. Additional microphones include wired and wireless, omnidirectional and unidirectional, handheld, lapel, shotgun, studio, and condenser type.

Lighting and Accessories

Proper lighting techniques add an appealing aesthetic to your piece. All Pro Media offers multiple lighting options including kits by Arri, Chimera,DraCast and Lowell in our production package. We also have a wide range of grip equipment including C-stands, blue and green screens, cloth and paper backdrops, gels and more to enhance the production.

Teleprompters

Using a teleprompter can help your talent deliver, and do so with greater confidence. Whether for the company president’s on camera segment or for a professional speaker, our teleprompters will make the productiongo faster and smoother. All Pro Media uses a computer based operation for smooth control and easy script changes in the field.

Closed Captioning Service

When your project is ready for television, the last step may be to add FCC required closed captioning. Since January 1, 2006, the FCC has required that most new English language programming on television be captioned. From transcription to finished master, All Pro Media offers fast and affordable closed captioning services to meet your programming and accessibility needs.

Project Archival

When your project is finished, our job is not over. At All Pro Media each edited final production is maintained digitally with rigorous back up methods. In addition, we are careful to archive the raw materials from the production including critical audio and graphic files.
